His lost to Mayweather who was at the time the P4P best fighter in the world. The only P4P list he is in is none other than the BBC. He was around people’s top 5 at the time of the Mayweather fight and all suddenly not even in the top 10.

Did his lost to Mayweather the p4p best fighter in the world and in a weight class above his preferred enough of him to be ousted of the P4P list?? Does he deserve to be in the top 10?? If you have him in your P4P list where is he ranked???

PS: I am not trying to hype Mayweather resume but a serious question about Hatton
This business of Hatton not being a 147lbs is a farce.Even Hatton used to take Floyd for granted, saying Floyd was too small to knock hatton out.Floyd came from a lower weight than Hatton and still remains small. That fight had nothing to do with weight but skills.Floyd went up more weights than Hatton even going to 154 to kick Oscar's ass yet he was small.

People need to have this settled that hatton is just a wrestler who leads with his face.He doesnt have any defence as he likes blocking shots with his lips.

I thought Hatton was a beast coming up. But since 2005 he hasn't been impressive enough to stay on a top 10 list in my opinion. Many thought he lost to Collazo. Urango is a tough kid, but nothing special. Castillo was still having weight problems and looked far past his best. Floyd disected him, and the Lazcano fight was far less than impressive in my opinion. Hatton is cool as ****. The type of guy you would love to drink some beers with, but I can't objecftively squeeze him in the top ten. Now if he whoops Malignaggi and follows that with another impressive win I would be more than willing the re-evaluate.

Some people overrate Hatton (Squealpiggy) and some people underrate him (DiegoFuego). He's a very good fighter, but not a bona fide elite fighter.

His short arms (20" to Floyd's 26") put him at a disadvantage against the taller, bigger Mayweather, as did the crooked ref, Joe Cortez.

I have Hatton just outside the top 10, at #11.

Where he fought is irrelevant, and he beat a lot of good solid fighters. Like many other fighters with his style his peak fighting years are short lived though. He is still competitive on an elite level, just not good enough to break my top 10 p4p list.

hatton's not in my p4p anywhere because juan lazcano would have knocked him out had he not had the hometown advantage.
