Why isn’t Ricky Hatton in many people’s P4P list?

Before the Mayweather fight Hattonwas the undisputred junior welterweight king after beating Kostya. He was undefeated and people’s champ. After fighting Mayweather the best boxer in the world and not in his natural weight he is suddenly out of many people’s P4P list. His lost to Mayweather who was at the time the P4P best fighter in the world. The only P4P list he is in is none other than the BBC. He was around people’s top 5 at the time of the Mayweather fight and all suddenly not even in the top 10.

Did his lost to Mayweather the p4p best fighter in the world and in a weight class above his preferred enough of him to be ousted of the P4P list?? Does he deserve to be in the top 10?? If you have him in your P4P list where is he ranked???

PS: I am not trying to hype Mayweather resume but a serious question about Hatton

Hopkins loses but is still in the top 5 of some people's P4P list.

      Hopkins has won big fights

Hatton's biggest wins are against an old Tszyu who quit in a close fight and a finished Castillo

Hatton was dominated by Mayweather. If he had been competitive, he might have stayed in the list, but he got rolled

Hopkins had a split decision with the P4P number two boxer while Hatton was brutally knocked out by the P4P number one boxer than struggled in a tune up fight with an innactive light-weight Lazcano.

because we all dont use Boxrec and Wikipedia as sources for information. We actually follow boxers, we watch their fights. Hatton was severly overrated because of the Tzu win and his following fights against Jurango and Collazo displayed that. But because he was chosen by Mayweather, he was again overratted. Floyd exposed his limited talent again as Collazo did and then it was even confirmed by a semi retired Lascano.

If you seriously have Hatton in the Top 10, then you need to sit the **** down and ponder why you even bother to make threads in a Boxing forum without proper knowledge. I don't even know why Domain lets you post in here. Big brothers are supposed to watch out for their little borthers.

In 2501 eyes you don’t know **** about boxing.
P4P list are pretty much people’s opinions. You can pretty much justify why you have that person there and why. I don't even have my own P4P list all I know is Pacman is the top dog and 2-10 doesn't matter in my eyes but I just was wondering why Hatton name has disappeared.

LHT actually follows boxing though. you can tell because he discusses things that cannot be found on websites, but only from actually observing fights and fighters so I'm sure he has his reasons.

You on the other hand seem to only be able to point out statistics and records. If someone were to ask you what you thought of the Santa Cruz/Casamayor fight, I'm sure you would say something like,

"Yeah, Casamayor schooled that mexican bum taking almost all of the rounds"

just because it says so on Boxrec

I had Hatton at number 10 after his loss to Mayweather but then I saw his performance against Lazcano and thought it wasn't as good as Cristian Mijares' recent performances so I put Mijares in there and dropped Hatton.

Funny, i clearly remember Hatton calling Floyd out after the Castillo fight, "You've just seen more excitement than in the whole of Floyd's career"
                    Don't you remember that?
