What you think froch has more speed and power? Maybe his chin is better but he has never faced a world class opponent.

Its always hard to tell just how good fighters from Europe are because they only beat up on other Europeans and that doesn't mean much.

Froch has only really mixed it against limited opposition, good europian at best. Definately not world level

Haye proved to be a world class fighter at Cruiserweight.

They have been pro for somewhere about the same sort of time, but the difference is one won world titles at his weight and the other won a British title at his weight.

Typically because their American counterparts avoid them

Froch has moved slowly but he is still the better fighter he just has'nt had chance to prove that yet

the myth of Haye will be put right when Wlad plants his head into the canvas

IMO Froch probably hits harder than Pavlik, Pavliks KOS usually come as a result of cumulative punches whereas Froch seems to have more "one punch KO" power.
Many people dont know that Froch has a decent amateur background and can actually box. He fights the way he does because he can get away with it against the opposition he has faced so far. Dont be suprised to see him box well in the early rounds while he gets a feel for Taylor.
IMO froch will win this fight and probably by KO, Im not dismissing Taylor as a poor fighter, just that he is a fighter in decline whilst Froch's career is on the up right now.

And exactly how many Carl froch fights have you seen to base this wonderful observation on? That version of Lacy would not have gone past 3 rounds against Froch and even a pre Calzaghe Lacy would not have beaten Froch. Carl Froch is arrogant because he is good at what he does!!!

The Lou Dibella saga around these fights and fighters recently pretty much proves that IMO.

Got to be an easy win for Taylor hasn't it? Froch has undoubted power and finds some interesting angles to throw from but he's slow and fights with his hands by his side - he is also unproven at the highest level.

How is he broke? He was even more technically sound in his rematch with Pavlik then he had been in his entire career. He has consistant lateral movement, kept use of the jab, kept his hands up in the right place and didn't get hurt one time throughout the entire fight. He will defintitely be one of the best super middleweights out there. I'm willing to put most of my points on Jermain Taylor if this fight ever happens.
