True, but he's a broken man now. He's the new Jeff Lacy. Froch isn't a great fighter, but he deserves a fight with Taylor and I believe he'll knock Taylor out. Unfortunately for Froch, he'd get schooled by Kessler or knocked out by Pavlik if he ever fought either of them.

in the second fight he just faded in the last couple of rounds to pavlik besides that he was very much in the fight,

No question about his power, but I dispute that he can box better than Pavlik. Froch's defence looks weak and his counter-uppercut trap that he uses against everyone won't work against quick opponents. Pavlik has a lovely jab and a good enough workrate to exploit that. Not that I think Pavlik is particularly talented skills wise.

Froch hits just as hard as Pavlik, but has huge defense problems he leaves his chin hanging and gets away with it because he has a iron chin. It would be intresting how Taylor deals with a big powerful super middleweight in Froch and how Froch steps up. I personally feel its Froch's time to shine.
