    Why not Margarito?
    Two reasons:
    (1) Margarito is very dangerous - and Oscar wants to go out on a very winnable fight. Margarito could easily beat him.

    (2) Oscar doesn't want to hear boos from the Mexican crowd. They would all be cheering Margarito. Oscar de la Diva needs to be the hero in his farewell bout.

I guarantee he won't fight Cotto.
Oscar will probably go after the dude who started his pro career at 106 lbs. - Manny Pac.

Ivan Calderon was busy, and Christy Martin turned him down.

Oscar rejected that offer because Ivan Calderon Schooled Oscar in Sparring when oscar sparred for floyd jr.
Roach said Oscar could not touch him.
He was one of Oscar main sparring partners.
That would be a More Dangerous fight then with pacquiao or cotto because Ivan is very slick and elusive fighter.

Oscar offered Calderon 40 bucks and a signed boxing glove of DLH
Oscar offered Martin $50 bucks and those famous fishnet stockings.

I have a feeling Oscar's gonna end up ducking Pacquiao.

                  Let's See

This probably will not be his last fight.....there is just too much money out there to be made against other opponents....... As far as Cotto is concerned, after this Margarito fight assuming he wins, Arum has already stated that a fight against Clottey would take place in PR, so if that's true, Oscar can feast on Pac-Man, and then setup a mega matchup with Cotto, heck if Hatton looks good against Malinaggi let's not rule out a Oscar/Hatton matchup in Manchester, at this point Oscar's all about the big big paydays..........

its funny how margarito is completely left out. if oscar can't fight a the smaller welterweight- he's gonna pick on a lightweight. how classy!

i know manny wants a payday, but **** that. oscar should fight the winner of this welterweight showdown regardless of who prevails. mexican v mexican sells too in this case, especially if margarito plays the "im the TRUE mexican" card, although I don't think that kind of agressive, ****-talking on a personal level is Tony's style....
