p4p strongest puncher in boxing IMO. a rematch with barerra is what he would've needed. naseem was quite the boxing genius and he would've figured a way to beat barrera had they fought again.

      difference of opinion.

but with your theory oscar de la hoya , roy jones , bernard hopkins , felix trinidad , shane mosley , and juan manuel marquez are not great fighters right?

did juan manuel marquez avenge his loss to norwood? john?

did bernard avenge his loss to taylor? jones?

did roy avenge his loss to tarver? glengoffe?

did shane mosley avenge his loss to winky? vernon?

did trinidad avenge his loss to hopkins? winky?

did oscar avenge his losses to mosley? trinidad? hopkins? he didn't even avenge his win to sturm!

yes those guys continued fighting after their losses and naseem retired after 1 fight after he lost.

but hamed was no longer in top shape. his last fight he won but you can tell he wasn't the same hamed anymore.

why should he continue fighting if he doesn't think he's that good anymore?

I'm not sure I've ever had any greater satisfaction then watching Barrera take him apart...except maybe when that fan through a beer on him before the fight.

me too. i was a barrera guy and i sold my soul to the devil for marco to win that fight when it happened. i hated nas when he was fighting. i learned to appreciate his career after he retired though.

maybe in the future after marquez retires i'll learn to love juan manuel......... nah...... probably not!

I regard Hamed below Barrera, Morales or even JMM. He's not a hoax but he ain't all that either compared to those three.

He's better than Khoasai Galaxy for sure. I keep seeing the name of that tomato can collector... geez.

He was a great fighter that got a beatdown by a sure fire hall of famer. There is no shame in that.

There is shame how he just fell off the map( he was in his prime) and never got a rematch for his sole loss.

Hamed was overrated and touted by his biggest fans to the extreme.....it was very annoying being an objective fan during his little "reign".....Kelley...ok....McCullough....alright. Don't let his other opponents' records fool you....they weren't all that. Was Augie Sanchez a true force to be reckoned with? I don't think so...

I see him as a flash in the pan.

He was simply an unorthodox power puncher who was in the right place at the right time....that is...until he met Barrera and got ruined.

He had a bad attitude and a big mouth....and he disrespected Boxing by saying he was the greatest Feather in history.

Yeah....he can be listed as a Top 100 P4P puncher....but the reality is that he can't smell The Top 10 great Featherweights and can't see The Top 100 ATGs with a telescope.....
