    Agreed.

He was giving it the big'un for years and after he got schooled, he didn't have the heart/bottle to come back and set the record straight.

    Yer right Naz.

Hamed showed a lot of heart in his fights, and KO'd everyone who ever knocked him down.

He didn't quit in a fight like many great fighters have, and when he was put down, he responded with all guns blazing, rather than running away or going into a defensive shell.

People are so criticial of Naz for not rematching ATG Barrera. Yet those same people act as if the fight was as one-sided as Hopkins-Pavlik. Yet no one wants a Hop-Pav rematch so...

Unlike many Mayweather fans, Naz fans like myself don't claim it as fact that he would've beaten all the great fighters around his weight class that he didn't face. He deserves criticism for retiring when he did, but less of the double standards would be nice.

You didn't answer any of my points, but OK.

What record should he set straight? Who was better between him and Barrera? I'm pretty sure that was established.

If the fight was a draw or a controversial decision, then sure, set the record straight with a rematch. But there is no record to set straight, it was a clear decision that nobody disputes.

I agree with with some of the points you put across so fair play for that.

Am not saying he should have chased a Barrera rematch but don't give it the big'un for all them years and curl up into a ball, put on a 100 pounds and not bother coming back. He shouldn't have retired when he did.

'Heart of a lion, a true champion' - Naseem's words, not mine

Naz was great in his day his record pretty much speaks for itself. Dont think you can put him on the same level as Floyd though

Barrera beat Hamed but Barrera had to fight a very cautiously fight to win yet to hear some people Hamed was a bum and Barrera was taking it too him when that was not the case at all Barrera fought a very smart tactical fight and he fought in bursts he did not sustain the action cause Hamed could of turned the fight on its head with one punch yet people like to act like Hamed was not in Barrera's league

Hamed and Barrera are, were both Elite fighters that is why Hamed was favourite to beat Barrera there are so many damn haters towards Hamed its unreal if you dont like him fair enough but dont pretent he was a bum that did not belong in the ring with Barrera cause simply aint true

Pac gave Marco a worse beat down than that as did Junior Jones i take the point Marco came back and Hamed did not but please stop the hate Hamed was a top top fighter
