15 mil plus 50/50 on the PPV should do it.

in reality, pac doesnt need de la hoya. de la hoya needs pac because he wants to finish his career with a win, and what betta way to win it by beating p4p 1. after all he does deserve to finish with a big win after having an impressive resume.

50/50 should be the cut. manny is going up 2 weight division in the space of 4 months to fight the bigger man. manny is literally risking his life fight de la hoya. even tho de la hoya is older now, lets be real, he only lost to a SD to mayweather and still has a lot of power.

      50-50??? lololol

Based on WHAT?? the whopping 180,000 buys for Pac-Diaz??? lolol
Oscar could do 180,000 buys of him taking a dump.

Remember, Oscar did 975,000 for Oscar-Mayorga. That right there is probably more buys than every single Pac ppv in the last 5 years combined.

      50-50?? maybe in his dreams......

read my post again. then think b4 u talk. who else can de la hoya fight with a low risk/high reward and enhance his legacy to the CASUAL fans. he cant fight any top welterweights. cotto, margarito are high risk. pac will bring more ppv, and low risk. he doesnt want to fight paul williams, clottery, cintron or berto, as i said, low reward, high risk.

he wont fight winky, high risk, not enought reward. causal fans dont like the style of winky = less ppv.

he wont fight venon forrest, no reward. wont fight mosly again. probably fight tito, but pac will bring more ppv, and less of a risk again.

i can only think of 1 other opponent, de la hoya can fight. that is hatton. high rewards from ppv, medium risk. pac is way less on a risk than hatton.

so therefore, looking at logic, and hopefully u can understand the economics of boxing, de la hoya wants pac badly, out of any1, due to low risk, high reward. and the status of beating p4p 1, which casual fans will be like "wow!!!" obviously, with boxing fans, we dont it doesnt mean much.

therefore, 50/50. pac can make money without de la hoya. plus he wont die if he fights other fighters. de le hoya will literally kill pac.

Good analysis. Too bad a 50/50 split will never happen. Even team Pacquiao aren't expecting a 50/50 split.

Golden Boy's such a Scrooge. Pac is taking a humongous risk here with his health and career and I don't think 10$ million is enough compared to the financial avalanche headed Oscar's way if this fight happens. Everything is to Oscar's advantage even when faced with midgets. What a bully.
