No I would say more at 130. I didn't really watch that division until he came around. So from what i've seen, yes I would say he is the best.

But I say that as my opinion. He may not be and i'm not trying to convince anyone that he is. But from what i have seen i think he is the best at that division.

I like Mayweather but I'm not a DIE HARD fan that talks non sense about him. I'll be the first to call him a ***** if he does not fight Cotto. As I said before I will not take anything away from his career but i will be pissed if he does not return to face Cotto if he wins this weekend.

Yawwwwwwn, Arum understands that a mayweather fight will pad his pockets well. He is campaining for this event relentlessly. Mayweather has stated he will not fight Cotto as long as he has to deal with Arum. Irregardless to the naysayers and haters, a Mayweather/ Cotto bout will eclipse the revenue of the upcoming Margarito/ Cotto bout and Arum knows this.

this is a very typical way to try and make a fighter come out of retirement.

The Boxing world would go nuts if this fight ever happens.

I would LOVE to see Floyd get in the face of Cotto at a presser like he did with DLH. Cotto has that "dont **** with me" look so I think it would be very interesting to see how Floyd would act

Warped reasoning, sometimes Arum speaks form his ass.Floyd was mearnt to fight Oscar, why would he turn down at least $35m payday. He would have had that fight at least then retired.

Cotto is just to slow for Floyd.Cotto isnt even going to win come Saturday,he wont be able to stand up after getting flattened by Margarito

He is good, but it goes back to comparing old guys to new. I was trying to stick to current fighters but then again we were talking about the best EVER... So yeah SRR was a great. But again I was thinking more modern. and didn't even think to go back that far. So you are right, I am wrong. Just don't mistake me for one of the crazy PBF fans, because i'm not. I just enjoy his style and I have a lot of respect for him.

It does still hold true since Cotto is a legitimate threat and was the biggest threat to Mayweather when he retired.

its funny you mention that, there is a thread asking who is better May or SRR... I thought it was kind of funny how we came across the topic ourselves...
