Would you guys rather see Pac get knocked out by delahoya and continue to fight and dominate lightweight for another 2-3yrs?? Or have him sustain enough damage that dec 6th becomes the pacman's last pro fight as well but digs deep and becomes the only former flyweight to beat a jr middleweight champ??
Pacman is going to retire by the end of next year.
If DLH KOs him (if the fight pushes through), then he might retire
earlier.
The $20M he will earn is more than enough for his future plans.
They won't take the fight unless they are confident that Pacman
can manage to at least survive the fight without serious damage.Comment

But do you think unifying the 4 lightweight belts would be more significant than beating a jr middleweight champ?Comment

he's lineal at 112 , 126 and 130.
he doesn't even need to unify 135. just be lineal at 135 (casa or juanma) and beat hatton who's lineal at 140.
that's better than oscar or floyd......Comment

even if he wins it's not that big a deal really. boxing history/legacy wise. so i don't really care if he wins. oscar doesn't even have a belt does he? plust oscar is past prime.
duran beating barkley this is not.
the money is worth it for manny though and i wouldn't fault him for taking this fight.Comment
