this is an interesting idea, albiet weird and unorthodox, it adds a unique spin on a fight and gives it even more signifigance.

Any weight gain is an advantage for Jones. Jones fought comfortably at heavyweight and was still just as quick with his hands, not to mention hes naturally built like a ****ing tank where as calzaghe is quite lanky.

i know i aint got much points , but ill bet them all on jones winning this fight with anyone

Jones wants the fight to involve the super middleweight titles that Calzaghe holds so he's proposing they weigh in two times, the first time at 168 so the fight will be fought for the 168 pound titles, then weigh in a second time after drinking a little water so they'd weigh a little above 168 so that the light heavyweight title will be at stake as well.

Jones is definitely confident of winning, he wouldn't be saying these things if he wasn't.

If Calzaghe says he can make 168 for Pavlik, I think he would be able to make 168 for Jones given the extra 7 weeks, it would also make the fight bigger because there's never been a guy who's moved up from middleweight up to heavyweight winning titles along the way then moving back down to super middleweight and winning a title there, not just winning a title but beating the man at 168 and 175.
All that AND throw in the fact that Calzaghe is undefeated and considered one of the top P4P fighters right now. If this does indeed happen and Roy pulls it out, hopefully he'll call it a career b/c there is nothing more to do after this.

I agree, there is no way he can top a win over Calzaghe unless he really wants to move back up to heavyweight and fight Peter.

That would be cool.....weigh-in twice for one fight
