but if people can respond better you can explore different ways to make ur point...
i dont think any team would pick barry over iverson. I dont know any team that wouldnt take iverson! If a team would to not want him it would be salary issues nothing more!

don't look at me. i'm not arguing his point. i just said i understand what he's trying to say.

it's his arguments it's up to him to defend it.

as far as the iverson and barry thing. depends on what the team needs.

iverson is a scorer. barry is a shooter.

if you have a team like the lakers or cavs that already have a scorer......why do you need an iverson? now a shooter like barry who can make space for kobe or lebron is very useful......

plus cheaper as well. though i don't know how this became a basketball thread......

if you have chris paul on your team......you don't need an iverson but a barry who you can kick out to when you drive can be very useful.

because this dumb ass is comparing the amount of shots you take and make being equivalent to the number of punches you throw and land.

any team would take iverson. money would be the only issue. If you have chris and allen that takes stress off the other player and gives you another option. You can also bring one of the bench and never lose a beat! Having them on at the same time would be a size disadvantage in the #2 position but im sure they would take him if the money was right!

very true. if money wasn't the problem of course you'd pick allen over brent.

but too many chefs spoil the soup......so to speak.

it'd be hard for two ball dominant guards to work together......

very true! It's sad that the players that really are the ones that help win championship which are the role players don't really get the credit they deserve sometimes! I do consider Iverson one of the best players ever! He's a little over the hill so it seems im not sure, but in his prime P4P allen iverson in my eyes was as good as it gets probably second behind Jordan. Can you just imagine what allen Iverson would be if he was 6-6 or 6-7?????? He would be unstoppable!!!!!!

In basketball these type players are called volume shooters, they usually get their points, but its the result of hoisting 30 shots a game and hurting the team in the process. Just some food for thought.
Really? I thought the numbers referred to the weight of James Toney and Erik Morales.
