Roy Jones vs. Joe Calzaghe: Is Joe's Injury The Real Deal?

Sorry Pump, but the discrepancy about whether it was the pads or a heavybag doesn't suggest Calzaghe is faking it.
The title of his next article should be prefaced with "lmao" and signed with "pwn." That's the level we're dealing with here.>>>>>>

None of the articles were explicit in stating that Joe Calzaghe feigned injury to push the fight date to November. Why don't you quit playing the part of Joe's lawyer, he has that taken care of. Seriously, you guys sound like Joe's girlfriend, jumping on a few paragraphs of very open ended writing and turning it into something that it really is not.

I never said they accused of feigning injury. The points made were that of balance, other lesser news do not receive so many articles, or such speculation in the form of articles. Not even Mayweather retiring when many more believe there to be other reasons than claimed. That's drawing a fair comparison and underlining this isn't very balanced.
The open ness of the writing was also the precise thing I was talking about, it's not clear what it's suggesting and is easily mis-interpreted. Seems you've not quite gotten that or misinterpreted it. Don't intend on commenting any further though so I for one will leave it there.

The bottom line is that this was an unneccessary article, by a poor journalist, that contained no information. It was trying to point to the possibility that because of a possible Warren court case, it is very convenient that Calzaghe has injured his hands. This may be so, but until the journalist has something confirmed to say about that court case, there is no point publishing anything. If he did have some decent info, then, at that point it is appropriate to post a "how convenient" article. That is what journalism is about, but in this case, with nothing to report, it is as KayJay pointed out, roughly equivalent to a sub-standard post in NSB by someone of less than average intelligence.
I post here nearly everyday, and get most of my boxing info from this site. I want it to be a high quality news source, not an amateurish fansite, which is where this particular article really belongs. Boxingscene should expect better.

You ALL have good points. But by sitting here and debating it, your just making it a popular thread. If if bothers EVERYONE that bad, then don't read it. I mean its that easy, right?
I honestly didn't find ONE thing wrong with it. Its NO different than turning on the TV and listening to the ****** NEWS. You can NEVER believe everything you see, hear or read. Like I said all we can do is wait like everyone else and the truth will be told.
Remember I'm not the one crying here, you all are. I find this amusing and i'm just the guy on the side lines watching and laughing at this circus show. Really is it that BIG of a deal for feelings to be hurt over? I think not!
