I don't know what he wants. But if the fight moves abroad I won't complain. Roy got himself into the position of underdog and he acknowledges that.

No sooner than the articles up, there's a majorly speculative inconclusive article on the validity of the injury. Pretty disapointing I'm afraid, and I don't see all that many folk or sites saying they think it's Frank Warren at all, merely mentions a possibility again as speculation on some. So it's taking that speculation and blowing it up.

The article title is mis leading and the article does not really specify what why it might not be the real deal, merely it might not be then mentions one possible predictable excuse, Frank Warren.

Joe wants the fight asap for many reasons, and I can't see Warren burning bridges with Joe to the extent of sacrificing Joe's Sept fight date, even if he could.

Pretty disapointed with this article I'm afraid. It's damn annoying but such exaggeration of some speculation is out of context, fuelling such cynical beliefs and not helping the situation for anyone.

What has Joe done? He's the champ, the favorite, and the draw. Five years ago Roy would've called the shots. Now Joe does.
First of all, Joe still isn't the draw, Jones is giving Joe the pay day, not the other way around. Secondly, the fight should be fought in New York, on a more neutral ground than Wales as it will most likely go to a decision.

C'mon now. I'm not one of these NSB types to argue endlessly about who has more mass appeal, but Joe is clearly giving Roy a chance to wake from the dead. Joe can fight anyone he wants from 160-175. Roy can't get a fight with an active contender.

This is not about whether you like Joe or Roy better. That's fact and even what Roy says is in agreement with it.

Well, the lawsuit is based on Calzaghe promising Warren the promotional rights to his next few fights, so I would say Warren, feeling he should have a partner stake in the Jones fight, would be a good reason for some extra time to sort things out. Warren doesn't lose too many lawsuits. I think he has something strong to go full force at Joe.

Thats what I don't like about this site, the very people who run it have an anti-British agenda. The whole basis of the article is that Enzo said it was on the pads, wheras the attorney said it was on the heavy bag. Because of this, BoxingScene post an article saying "Is The Injury Real?". It is absolutely ridiculous. It is obvious to me that any opportunity will be taken by US boxing media to criticise and undermine the credibility of UK boxers in what is really a childish way.

BoxingScene is on the internet, which is global, and though it is clearly US owned it should have a little more respect for both its UK users and UK boxers, and try to actually be an objective source of information, rather than allowing its writers and editors to succumb to the personal prejudices they so obviously have.

There is absolutely no basis for speculating that the Calzaghe camp is 'lying' about an injury because a lawyer does not have the exact same story as the trainer, not about what the injury is, but how it occured.

                ************************************************** ****

ok hotshot. he IS the champ..........MAYBE the SLIGHTEST of favorites............. but he DEFINITELY IS NOT the draw.........

the only way his fights will sale is by bringing tons and tons of fans with him from ENGLAND. that's it......................

the reason his fights are now in the US is because he has avoided the US his whole career, he knows to be truly respected, he HAS to come over here and do his thang..........to finally get a big fight in vegas, then your next one at MSG, then talk about going back home makes no sense whatsoever, and completely contradicts what joe himself was saying as his motivation for the hopkins fight..................

Your personal feelings about what may or may not be so are not a basis for publishing articles that essentially accuse the Calzaghe camp of lying when there is not a single fact, only circumstance, on which to ground your opinion.

For all I know, you might be right, I'm sure the Calzaghe camp is not above a little misleading, but for all you know, you may be wrong too, so you shouldn't be publishing articles like this.
