For all I know, you might be right, I'm sure the Calzaghe camp is not above a little misleading, but for all you know, you may be wrong too, so you shouldn't be publishing articles like this.
I think if you search the site, UK fighters get more press on here than any other US based website.

Nobody is saying Joe is scared or trying to get out of a fight, only taking time out to deal with a pending litigation. As far as facts, just stay tuned.

If you have the facts, then I have no problem with it. It is just annoying because articles like that one just encourage dumb posting in here.

Warren doesn't lose too many lawsuits. I think he has something strong to go full force at Joe.
I don't see "good reason" as justification for such over speculation I'm afraid. There's lots of supposed good reasons for all kinds of things but it's not assumed their true by every media site. Did even Mayweather retiring get so many articles on "good reasons" he might be? Not really for something that was much bigger news and happened before, with even more logical reasons.

One article already mentions a source says whispers of it being due to Frank Warren litigation is not true, which is enough to put in and let peopl speculate about. But since then there's two further articles which are both speculative. One on if the fight will now be in the UK, the other on whether the hand injury is "the real deal". Just think it's too much to be honest.

I expressed a rare disappointment in one article, not bad going really and was only because I respect the site much overall, and think it's great. I've written how some articles were brilliant far more times. BoxingScene may have more articles of UK fighters than other US based boxing websites and I commend that. Doesn't mean enough though, and I'm talking about Boxingscene being one of few over speculating on this piece of new's validity which is true.

The only other time I can remember making a constructive piece of criticism on NSB was when one article was a "Europe update" or something, giving one sentence each on some euro fighters at most in one jumbled article, followed by several separate articles on US fighters each way longer.

Not saying it's a big deal, as I've said I've complimented the site far more times than made constructive points to the contrary, and I think both have been pretty fair.

If the as yet unconfirmed rumours are true I would encourage all UK fans to boycott Sports Network promoted events from now on because Frank Warren is a grade A **** who has no respect for the boxing public who have lined his pockets handsomely for more than two decades.

The fight heading to the UK has to be a serious consideration on behalf of the promoters. Do you really think UK fans are going to spend that kind of money to travel to the states twice in the same month? Calzaghe and Jones were against holding the fight in November originally for that very reason. They knew the UK fans would be split between them and the fight with Hatton.

WESS, you've been exposed as a trigger happy, un-educated poster so many times and carry on with such posts, their just not worth responding too. Seriously though, try to lower the post count and get some value in there at least.

BigPopp, the fight heading to the UK is a possibility yes, just saying why does their have to be 3 separate articles on this thing, each one progressively speculative, that's not been the case for bigger news with more logical excuses, that's all.

The fight in Nov would really struggle, wouldn't do great even in Sept. I think it makes much more sense in the Millenium Stadium esp as Roy said he wouldn't mind fighting the top guy in their backyard now. It would be stuffed full of 80k people.

Though annoying (and you can bet Joe's annoyed with his hands he's let on several times) it's true it does mean their less pushed on promoting it and training for it, and it will do better in the UK in that stadium for several reasons. Not least Joe fans likely to be much lower in number because they've already been out to the US this year, and the same applies for Ricky Hatton more so, and again soon. Just makes more sense in Nov and in the UK. Doesn't mean Joe wasn't happy with NY though as he openly said he was, no problem. It's a mixed bag really.

I wasn't making a point for someone to respond. I just find it entertaining that one little article gets all you calzaghe fans all hyped up. There is no need for it. YOU all are the ones that need to "lower" your post count! lol In time we ALL will find out what really happened and we can continue with the count down to the fight. Until then you need to put your vaginas away and relax man, you are too sensitive about joe, all his fans are. WHO CARES? if he hurt his hand he hurt his hand, if he didn't then that will look bad, but hey at least he's 100%. In do time we all will know what's going on. So again put the vaginas away. I didn't find one thing wrong with this article. It didn't seem bias, the writer just stated what EVERYONE is thinking.... am I wrong?????????
