Just re-watched Cotto-Judah tonight...

Boy did Zab get his ass handed to him, I remember watching this fight at a bar and forgot how lopsided this fight was. Cotto bulldozed Judah like a pitbull all night. Zab on the other hand, had his moments, stunned Cotto with that slicing uppercut and big left hand right on Cotto's mug but other than that he just played defensively and barely threw any shots.

Now the reason I'm posting this is, how can Cotto not look good when his opponents are afraid to go in and trade back with him, Judah's got such a fragile mind, easily breakable. The more I see Cotto fight the more I see Margarito just going face to face against him, not wavering, not running, just hitting Cotto with conviction and power. Tony ain't backing down, he will get hammered by Cotto but to no avail, he will break Cotto down. This man can't stand pressure, his chin is shaky no matter what his fans say. Tony is KO'ing this man in the 9th or 10th round, **** it I will go far as saying that possibly earlier on the fight.

cotto is the one who's gonna score the tko I garuntee it. margarito is gonna go face to face with him but so what, he doesn't have a good enough brawling game to beat cotto's boxing abilities. cotto will box when necessary and brawl when necessary. margarito will be schooled, I assure you.

Zab was doing pretty well in the few few rounds. He was pretty much outmtaching him with his speed but that's what ultimately led to his downfall. When cotto gets hit with a good shot or two he seems to respond with more aggression. When zab is met with added aggression he responds with....nothing. It's almost like you can see him thinking in the ring "oh no this guys getting pissed! What do I do?!"

Sure, just pay me what Zab was getting and let me wear the same equipment. Judah is a phony and he was milking that for everything it was worth. Watch Cooney-Holmes and see how Larry stood up to a lot more low blows by a monstrous puncher. He didn't go into the tank like Judah did.

I just don't get how people think Margarito is some kind of undestructable machine. I'll admit the guy has an excellent chin and good stamina, but no man is undestructable. I could see if he had beaten some guys in the past year that were really good, but he lost to Paul Williams a little over a year ago and his only two wins since then have been against Golden Schlong and Cintron.

He'll be pumped up for his big chance, but Cotto is just better than him in practically everyway and has more variety if things don't work. While Marg only has one style and one style only. I know Marg doesn't have regard for human life, but by the end of the fight he better have regard for his defense because he's gonna be getting hit a lot. I feel Cotto has the will to survive the pressure and he fights smart. I think those two things are gonna get him the victory.
