    We've been talking about this...

I haven't ever heard the welterweight qualification... a lot of people say he is the worst champion ever.

So, in my thread... which is just about the worst champion ever, Aiken plays a role, thoughts?

Before i clicked on the link I immediately thought of Eric Aiken would be in that category. He actually has some skill and didnt do awful against Guerrero.

Lol, you are getting to specific.

Are you seriously now changing it to, "Baldomir is the worst linear welterweight champion?"

          If so, you probably win.

Gatti was favored by name alone. His biggest welter win was against Damgaard. Other than being a bigger name, there wasn't much in Gattis favor. He got blasted out in his other 147 fight by DLH. Beating Gatti hasn't been impressive for a long while now.

Does it really count? He won the IBF title by DQ.

                    The IBO championship doesn't count.

Baldomir is a tough , gritty guy. But his skill level and competition are suspect at best. You're right though, he did what he had to against Gatti and Judah and that deserves respect. Im not a fan of his, but props should be given, when deserved.
