Leon Spinks was pretty bad too.

I think you can make a credible argument about the worst lineal champion though, but not any titlist.
So then what does that say about the champion who precedes him?

Judah yes, Gatti no. Gatti, at 147 pounds, what the hell did he ever do there?

Gatti was a 3-1 favorite at one point to beat Baldomir, no one was picking Baldomir to beat Gatti. You have to give him some credit for defying those odds.

            there is a difference..
I've never seen anyone qualify the statement with the word welterweight.

By the way, I might have been wrong... Aiken gave Tim Austin his second loss (his first was to Rafael Marquez). Austin was a former Olympian, and a very good champion.

wow. So I guess Baldo with 11 losses and 6 draws was a great win for Floyd.

Wow. I guess you are answering the argument that no one has made in this thread thus far.

Not a single person on here has said a positive thing about Baldomir in relation to Floyd in this thread.

Does Erik Aiken > Baldomir? Just answer the question and leave the other **** out of it. I'm not even a Floyd fan, that's not why I made this thread dude.

when they where talking about this I specificly heard a couple people say "welterweight champion".. I don't feel like diggin through all that crap but you're more then welcome to.
And Baldomir porbably is the worst welterweight champ..

That also may be a fair assessment.

                    Andrew Lewis kind of ******.

I have no idea on welterweights though.

Erik Aiken wasn't even a welterweight.. what does that have to do with who was the worst "welterweight champion".
