well i think there is a 90% chance that Jones will get stopped

i dont think Pavlik will stop Hopkins and Pavlik is a bigger puncher with a high workrate

Joe Calzaghe always wins. So, I say Hopkins.

I wouldnt be shocked a bit if Hopkins beat Pavlik to be honest. Not saying Im picking B-Hop, but I really have no idea how that fight is gonna play out. For sure Pavlik as good as he is is more of a "normal" fighter than Calzaghe is and B-Hop might be able to figure him out and potshot him. Pavlik brings his reach, his power and his stamina to the table, but he will have a very tough time against Hopkins IMO.

Bigger upset would be Jones over Calzaghe but the more likely upset would be Hopkins over Pavlik. I still like Calzaghe and Pavlik to win decisions.

Yeah that says it for me. Hopkins is still a top P4P level fighter, so it isn't as big upset as Roy beating the 2 P4P fighter when he ain't really done much since the losses.

Hopkins can make any fight close with the style that he has these days and i see him grabbing Pavlik, staying on the outside ect and possibly lossing a close decision, just like in the Calzaghe fight. Jones seems like he does not have the stamina to hang with Calzaghe so he should think of ways to nullify it the way Hopkins did. Roy must be feeling bold in order to take the fight anyway so he must have a plan up his sleave.

Well Hop just lost at the age of 43 and it wouldn't be that big of a deal if he lost again due to the fact he's facing top contenders that are undefeated. His next opponent PAV is a fighter that's in his prime and has one hell of a punch. So no shock if he lost.

Now Jones beating Calzaghe would be a really big upset, because like most say old Jones is not expected to win. Plus he has done nothing great since hardly beating Tarver in there first fight which seems like forever ago! So yes Jones over Calzaghe would devastate people. I bet some even cry, we might even have mass suicides. Would be a sad day in boxing for some.....
