Jones vs Calzaghe and Pavlik vs Hopkins. Which would be more shocking? Either winning would suprise me, but which would be the bigger upset?

I think Jones winning would be a bigger upset, Hopkins just gave one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world a tough fight and some even thought he won, Jones hasn't done much lately apart from beating Trinidad.

Hopkins would be the bigger upset in my opinion. Roy Jones can easily put of the fight of his life and win. Roy Jones is one the most skilled boxers ever, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he won.

A prime Jones was easily one of the most skilled fighters that i have watched, but thats that. It was a prime Jones and now he is clearly past it and has not beaten a top fighter in a half a decade.

True, but I have a feeling that RJJ still has something in store. He is already thinking about the next fight with Peters, maybe showing that he has something left in him. Or maybe that just talk. Hopkins is 43 and Pavlik is young and way more hunger. Hopkins if he wins, it will be the biggest upset

Jones will not go near a ring with Samual Peter in it, but i agree with the overall point.

What do you think is the bigger upset?

I think Jones beating Calzaghe is the bigger upset. Jones has not beaten a top fighter in the last few years and Calzaghe is number 2 pound for pound, still in his true prime and is still on top of his game. Hopkins is still competing with younger fighters and he has proven that against pound for pound quality in Wright, Tarver, Calzaghe ect. Jones in his come back has beaten fighters that were not ranked at light heavyweight, Hanshaw is a natural super middleweight, Trinidad is a welterweight/middleweight (and past his prime) and Aduaju is not known by anyone.

Jones beating Calzaghe is the bigger upset. All you have to do is look at the recent activity of the four fighters and it points to that conclusion.

Well said that man ^^^ you can draw no other conclusion really.
IMO neither will get the upset victory though.
