In a weird way, De Leon losing was the worst thing that could have happened for Penalosa. Vazquez beats him, probably stops him.Comment

This Gerry. Is he any good. Checked his record, pretty impressive but he's old. How does he fight?Comment

Very durable, never been stopped. Almost all of his losses have been MD or SD in his opponent's hometowns. He is a southpaw but his advanced age has slowed his activity rate. I felt he beat Daniel Ponce De Leon, but it was hard to give him the rounds because he was throwing half the punches. He's a much truer 118 pounder than 122, which means he'll give up some size to Vasquez.Comment

he can be considered triple A if marketed properly. 4 of his losses we're split decisions in SOUTH KOREA againts koreans.
Good power and techinical abilities. His workrate seems to be his weakness. He's at his best when facing a brawler/slugger.Comment

Thanks! Vazquez is a monster and if Gerry can't match his activity level then I don't see him beating Vazquez unless he has excellent boxing ability and great defense.Comment
