Calzaghe is in want for big money, smart man. What do you guys think Jones-Calzaghe PPV sales could reach? How would they go about prompting this fight?

Well at least he will make BIG pay days and walk away with something from the sport.
Correct... it took more than 10 years for Calslappy to come to the US and fight... he's just a larger version of Valero... he's fighting ****s in Wales... most of them are male **********s... **** actors... even his fans here are ****s, worse they are a bunch of f-a-g-s...
At least Valero has a medical issues, unlike Calslappy... he wont retire yet, he needs more money... so he can buy male **********s when he retires...

I see it doing really well. Especially now if Calzaghe signs with GBP and they do a 24/7 show like May and Hatton did. i think that will really hype the fight and make for BIG money out of the PPV.. IDK, i know i will pay for it...

Yeah, Calzaghe is trying to as much money as possible before he retires. Smart move, I say. 24/7 series with Jones and Calzaghe would be very interesting.

Yup, I bet ONCE people see Jones in training they will get VERY nervous... lol Thought I would throw that out there... REMEMBER everyone, Jones is hungry... he may be 40 but he's a 40 year old hungry fighter that's facing a MONEY hungry 37 year old.... that does not have the POWER to KO him, which is his only fear at this point in his career... Think about it.... like I said......

"Jones comes to the ring with LEGS = Calzaghe leaving the ring with a LOSS".

Besides, Calslappy has at least 2 fights left in him, Hatton is nothing much, Haye The Gay is just a loud mouth in the HW division... he fought mostly european patsies... And most of the boxers at GB Promotions are oldies, they are just saving for their retirement...
Yeah thank god he hasn't taken on the cream of the crop of the HW division in the US like.... Tony Thompson or Taurus Sykes.

If he was so hungry, he would've been chasing titles or tough fights these past few years, but he hasn't. He fought Trinidad because it was a money fight, even though it was meaningless.

EXACTLY the point playa! lol You ran right into this one... Of course he did, he fought **** fighters on a ****ty level that didnt mean ****. Why? So he could get time in the ring, get his name out there (again) and to bait mr. calzaghe himself. Did it work? September 20th..... I think it did... lol silly silly guy... who would have gave Jones a chance other than a prince abbaaaju ju ju, Hanshaw and Trinidad (that called him out)? NO ONE would have, but Calzaghe... lol.... He had a plan and it worked perfect. because NOW he's fighting a "TOP" guy with belts... I would say JONES is pretty damn smart.. and pretty damn hungry! lol So you cant Judge Jones at all, UNTIL he fights Calzaghe. because all the other fights where meaningless...RIGHT????? I cant wait for you guys to see film of him in the gym. I hope they do a 24/7....

                    Calzaghe Jones

Firstly, everyone who says Calzaghe slaps, do you know why he punches the way he does? He has a well-documented history of breaking/damaging his hands in fights and he has learnt to punch with his arms without moving his body so much (like more traditional punchers) thus conserving more energy to last longer in fights. Now whilst I'm not his biggest fan, look at how many knockouts he's scored through his career. Say what you like about the class of opponent he's fought, but in boxing no matter how good a fighter is, you can't teach chin. Being able to take a punch is something you're born with (or without). You can't claim that every single fighter Calzaghe has fought had a bad chin now can you? I do however think that his power has dwindled the last few years likely due to becoming naturally heavier therefore having to lose more muscle to make weight; I can't see him stopping Jones. And as for Jones, I just don't have an idea as to what sort of shape he's going to be in for this fight but that only makes me want to see it more. The longer it lasts, the more I'd favour Calzaghe. I'm also quite pleased Golden Boy is getting involved, it'd be nice to have some half decent fighters on the undercard rather than Warren cast-offs.

Here are the facts: Jones fought big money fights with no meaning. He is now fighting a big money fight with meaning.

Do you notice a common element there?
