ugh huh.. sure.. run nicca run nicca! Why are you bringing Bruseles up? Floyd came their to fight a fight where Cotto would be there. It was part of a plan to see if that is a fight Cotto and his people wanted, and they quickly found out that the fight would best be fought at 147. You don't want to get into the bums Margs has fought lol. Margs should've fought at JW with the bums he has on his resume.

Ha, I remember the Bruselles fight. It was so boring that Floyd was talking to Lamps during the fight and he told Lamps he wanted the falcons to win the game. Why are you bringing Bruseles up? I wish he would've fought some more welters, but he did what he did.
And it's in the past.
Did he beat Mitchell before or after Zoo did. I can't remember the timeline for that. I think Zoo busted up Mitchell a second time in 2004.
As a fan, I wanted floyd to clean out the welter division, he didn't.
Water under the bridge now.Comment

Exactley.. If your afraid of losing then why be in the sport? That's why I'm glad he retired.
You never seen Cotto go.. wait, is this guy too risky for me? Is he risky enough for a payday? Nah, dude is fighting whoever they put infront of them and that's a true fighter!.. unlike someone else.Comment

I wish all fighters would take the risks. I like Cotto a lot, especially recently. He could have not bothered with the Margarito fight, but took it to proove he is the best welterweight. I have to respect that in him.Exactley.. If your afraid of losing then why be in the sport? That's why I'm glad he retired.

As fans, we gain a lot from that attitude. That would be great if every boxer had it too.
They don't. That's life.Comment

Bruseles was at 140....right? And Sharma was the first fight at WW.But he fought Mitchell and Bruseles who are also bums??
He fought them despite the fact that another "bum" (Margarito) had more to offer including a belt and a career high payday. Just makes no sense.
Why would he fight two bums that didn't bring anything to the table but then fight another "bum" who at least had a title and was waiving some money in his face... hmm..
Is that correct?Comment

Margarito why would Mayweather waste his time with that bum. 5 losses, KO percentage lower than Mayweather. One of the worse resume in welterweight division, and yet he gets a shot at Cotto. Sin City want to place a bet one the fight. Mt 40K to your 40K,Comment
