He fought them despite the fact that another "bum" (Margarito) had more to offer including a belt and a career high payday. Just makes no sense.
Why would he fight two bums that didn't bring anything to the table but then fight another "bum" who at least had a title and was waiving some money in his face... hmm..

what's sad is that if Margarito somehow beats Cotto, people will say Antonio is a great fighter when they should be saying, "Cotto was overrated."
