I'm British, but the only homegrown boxers i like are Froch and Haye. Never been a fan of Hatton, i respect Calzaghe but not a fan, don't like Khan, same can be said about Witter, Woods etc...

There are also some prospects i prefer to the big names, and lesser known stars such as Mitchell and Rhodes who i don't mind.

My favourite boxers are from other nations.

Hatton = Overrated. Tough bastard, but that's about it. Terrible "skills". Relies on toughness and workrate. Workrate is slipping. Tzyu is the last fight where he impressed me at all.
Calzaghe = Good to possibly great fighter. Problem is he waited too long to prove if he's truly an ATG. But no one should question his heart and his toughness. Ever. He's taken monster shots, gotten knocked down, and kept coming.
Khan = hasn't fought anyone. Who knows how he'll be...but getting knocked down by random fringe bums is not promising. Waiting to see but I think he'll probably get exposed.
Haye = No one can determine how he'll do at heavyweight yet. He could make some big waves. As an offensive fighter he's fun to watch. I think Klit will beat him, but I have to applaud him going after the number 1 guy and wanting that fight. I don't think anyone should write him off yet, OR say he'll KO Klit easy.

Yeah, so some Americans don't "hate" UK fighters. Just that some of their fans on here are quite delusional. Others are pretty reasonable. It just that the delusional ones tend to be pretty vocal.

I'm sure UK fans see some US fight fans the same way. Big deal.
Lol look how worked up you got over me saying one word. Wow I must've really slapped you hard on the previous threads the way you keep following me around.

When you have dude like Hamed, Andy Lee, Ricky Hatton and Gary Lockett coming to America and being completely obliterated the American fans start to think all U.K. fighters are over rated.

Hamed got beat by a Mexican legend. Obliterated? Hardly. I seem to remember him knocking the **** out of several yanks.

Gary Lockett? Calzaghe's sparring partner. Hardly a massive hope.

                  Hatton got beat by Mayweather.

Andy Lee is Irish, genius. Showing why other fans start to think that Yanks arent the sharpest knives in the draw.
