Not all Americans on here hate the British fighters, it's just the ones that do are more vocal than the ones that don't, plus we tend to remember them more. And to be honest our fight scene is pretty pathetic compared with what the Americans have dished out, even given the disparity in size between the two countries. When you think of legends you think of Ali, Robinson, Leonard, Hagler, Pep, Marciano (I don't care what anyone else thinks he's a legend to me), Louis, Johnson, Langford etc etc. British legends are on a lower echelon, think Bruno, Hatton, Benn, Eubank, Hamed, Cooper etc. So I think that when they see us arguing about how great British boxing is they kind of find it funny.

I do think Calzaghe is under rated by them, though, and I think Haye could make big waves. Khan's an over exposed hype job though who'll be KO'd the minute he fights someone his own size, and Calzghe's wasting his time fighting Roy.

I like some British fighters like Joe Calzaghe, who's a bona fide all-time great fighter, and Carl Froch, who's been avoided by cowards like Taylor and Inkin.

I think Khan might or might not turn out to be the real deal. Mitchell has great potential. Hatton and Murray are real warriors in the ring.

However, others like David Haye are made out to be something better than they really are by their annoying fanboys like Chunk and Terrible. They think he's a great heavyweight, but he's never beaten a good heavyweight yet.

Haye's bragging is turning a lot of people off. He shouldn't need to wait until November to take his first fight against a heavyweight contender.

I can't stand Williams and Skelton because of their continually resorting to dirty tactics such as hitting while holding, head butts and rabbit punches.

I like Haye and I'm a guy that usually dislikes british fighters. I dont care what anyone says, the best fighters do come from America and if a British fighters loads up their record and claims their the best without fighting people from America it makes my stomach churn with disgust.

The thing is you have no idea if he will be good or not so i don't see how you can slag him off and start saying he sucks already. And all his talking is just to hype up his fights and get him noticed, this way he gets higher ratings and more money etc. loads of fighters do it.

I'm from Boston, Haye's one of my favorite fighters right now alongside Jones, Hopkins, Guzman and Taylor.

I'm also a fan of Ricky Hatton, though lately I don't like his hold and hit style, and I'm also a fan of Calzaghe, though lately I've been less and less because more and more he seems to be acting like a prick. I'm also interested to see how Khan will do, especially once he picks up a highly regarded American trainer.
