so there are no weight issues but yet he still needs to have this fight in 160...hhmmm. I'm sure Winky can manage to go to 154lbs so what is the deal with Williams fighting at 160 if there are no weight issues....Also, is he planning on relinquishing his belt?

Good match up. I would really like to see this happen. (I just hope Winky is realistic on what he is worth at this stage of his career.)

If it's a fight that will get Winky back in action then why not.

          Let the borefest begin!

zzzzzzzzzzzz, this will be a bore fest!! Why isnt PW giving Quintana the sam opportunity in a rubbermatch like Quintana did?? I still have it 1-1 against Quintana and i still dont know who is the better man.

Quintana got an 8-4, 8-4, 7-5 decision over Williams.
Williams blasted Quitana out in one round.

I think Williams has the edge.

Go Wright! I can't ****ing wait, seriously.

Ya I hope this fight happens its very interesting. I like Paul Williams in this one! I know why Williams is going up he wants to fight the big name fighter or fighters with a name now. Everyone at WW is tied up, Cotto,Margarito, Judah, CLottey so ya why not go up. Williams won't get Cotto if he wins due to him probably fighting Oscar for the big money after.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this fight. This seems like a great matchup.

I say that Winky will school anyone 160 on down. Including Pavlik.

I would like to think the same, but... this inactivity is making me nervous.

Look what inactivity made Joel Casamayor look like against Jose Santa Cruz.

His performance in the Taylor fight still gives me a lot of hope though.

                  Go Wright!

Winky hasn't made 154 in almost 4 years and just got through fighting at 170. It's probably safe to say that at 36 years old he can't make 154 any more. Since Winky doesn't have a belt, Williams will probably hold onto the one he has, unless this fight sets up a bigger fight at 160.
