i agree, it didnt help that Hatton couldnt adjust his gameplan mid fight though and that he clearly got rattled by the standard of the refereeing which made him fight a very one dimensional fight in trying to go for the KO he undoubtedly needed to win the fight.did u see the Rogan vs Dolan fight ?
that was a real good scrap but it still showed the inadequacies of British refs Rogan was pushing and pulling Dolan all over the place leaning on him the lot and he was allowed to get away with it ,it was more of a fight than a Boxing match they kept telling Dolan to Box i was thinking how can u Box under those circumstances lol if the ref had let the Hatton do that to the best fighter in the world it would have been a close fight IMO so what chance has Dolan got
Haye v Enzo was a joke for all the hype but only because of the poor officials IMOComment

Ricky do u realise how good Floyd Mayweather was as a SFW or how good SRL was as a WW do u think they could have stayed and dominated their divison for 10 years of coarse but they seeked out challenges by moving up in weight
Calz stayed at SMW for a reasonLast edited by Dynamite Kid; 07-17-2008, 08:48 AM.Comment

He would still have lost IMO but if Hatton had Dave Parris or someone like that as the ref he would of made a much better fight of it and i doubt he would of got KTFO
thats not an excuse by any means its just if the referee allows u to bend the rulesComment

what annoyed me was the double standards of Cortez in that fight, he broke them every time Hatton got close (although Floyd was much better an infighter than i gave him credit for) but he let Floyd use the elbow all bloody night!
anyway we digress, at least no one can say either fighter ducked each other at that time.Comment

Floyd uses the elbow all the while its his way of setting people up for the right hand when their in mid rangewhat annoyed me was the double standards of Cortez in that fight, he broke them every time Hatton got close (although Floyd was much better an infighter than i gave him credit for) but he let Floyd use the elbow all bloody night!

when his oponent is leaning on him he leavers them off with the elbow to engineer some space then hits them with mulitiple right hands over the top he has got away with it his whole careerComment
