I think the only way that fight would have happened is if Witter kept his belt against Bradley because i feel that Hatton, who consistently ****s on about "doing it for the fans" would have been forced by his pride to take it as they would both have been title holders and the british public would have been justified in their disgust if it was not made to happen.

On a lighter note just noticed ur from my home town dude, how is Brum nowadays?

Calzaghe did not exactly seek out challenges either son

i think your right a win over Bradley was pushing Witter closeR and closer to the point where Hatton would have no choice ,but he lost LMAO

i dont know how anyone can claim Lewis is a ducker the guy fought the best as was always willing and able ,age caught up with him and he new it so he got out
he said he would fight if the money was there, which it was,

he also said if vitali eye was ok which it was,

vitali gave lewis a very tough fight and was ahead on the scorecards,

lewis knew vitali would stand a very good chance at beating him,

lewis retired to protect his record,

im not claiming he ducked anyone else, but lewis ducked a rematch with vitali

i would have said he ducked him if Lewis was not an old man that was past his prime who new it

Tyson avoided Lewis BTW he waited untill he had nothing to lose and everything to gain and Lewis is not really credited cause Tyson left it so long to face him

what amused me more about the Witter/Bradley fight was the whole snake hands thing Witter had going on, i know he is renowned for being awkward but that was ridiculous, it left him completely open for that right hand, and my god did it come!!
The Taylor KO was IMO one of the best fights this decade, a real thriller and Haye beating Mormeck in his backyard was a great result if not the most exciting fight.
I have posted that Hatton getting KO'd by PBF totally did my head in so i dont wanna talk about that (wipes the tears away LOL)
For me though, seeing Enzo Macarinelli's inexperience catch up wit hhim when Haye smashed him in the corner was a WTF moment. Had he taken a knee and an 8 count the 1st time his legs buckled instead of sitting on the ropes and putting his chin up for the finishing punch he MAY have made it through.

I'm not saying Jones ducked Calzaghe because he didn't but he sure as hell could have fought Hopkins and a few other guys (Hopkins rematch) instead of demanding "60-40".
