fighters past or present who did they duck

fighters past or present who did they duck ?

PBF ,Cotto ,Marg and nearly every other full blown WW on the planet

Calzaghe maybe fighting Pavlik i would not hold your breath untill u see it happen it could just be a smoke screen

Hatton ducked Witter and avoided him like the plague

as much as i hate to admit it Bowe avoided Lenny

Jones is a touchy subject lets just say he never faced Nunn ,Benn, Eubank ,Darius , i dont blame the Hopkins 2 fight on him he is notorious for asking for to much cash

who did'nt avoid McCallum is a better question i guess

Wlad is avoidig Haye aswell :blow:

    Steve Collins didnt duck McCallum.
I also agree that the Calzaghe vs Pavlik possibility is likely to be a smokescreen to keep the press and fans off his back while he prepares for Jones.
Not sure Wlad is actively ducking Haye, i dont particularly lile Wlad BUT he is currently the man and there are more deserving challengers at the weight right now so why should he give the new boy his shot immedietly?
Hatton ducking Witter is certainly a possibility but is there any concrete proof?

          lewis ducked vitali,

he came up with excuses of how he would only fight if vitali`s eye was fully healed,

vitali only came into the lewis fight on a few days notice,

lewis knew vitali would have a great chance at beating him,

hehehe, Im hardcore Hatton, ill defend him where i can LOL

nah tbh I agree although to be fair Witter didnt have much to offer at the time, he had been KO'd in his only previous title fight and although Hatton was only holding an alphabet title it was a stepping stone for him and IMO Witter didnt bring anything to the table and was probably too dangerous in his prime.

if i was 35+ and i had just got through a tough fight where i felt i might be deteriorating as a fighter i think i would retire especially when u have such a good resume like Lewis

i dont know how anyone can claim Lewis is a ducker the guy fought the best as was always willing and able ,age caught up with him and he new it so he got out

Jones ducked a lot of fighters in the 90's.

Good post, IMO Lewis, although i dont like him was one of the best and beat everyone he faced, not every boxer can claim that on their resume.

                    thats a fair assessment

Witter was on seconds out and they asked that if he had not shouted from the roof tops about Hatton do u think he would have fought u and Witter said honestly i dont think he would of
