my plan if i was manny and had absolutely control of everything having to do with him and his respective opponents?

end of 2008 - fight ricky hatton for his lineal belt.
beginning of 2009 - fight winner of marquez/casamayor
mid of 2009 - fight winner of guzman/campbell
end of 2009 - rematch juan manuel marquez if casamayor won or fight katsidis/diaz winner

beginning of 2009 - fight a young undefeated prospect that won't command big money at 135 so he can have a goodbye retirement fight in philippines.

Yeah thats fair enough. I definitely wouldn't be willing to pay for it, but i would drive to the pub or stream it.

That might be his last paycheck, I dont see him moving down to lightweight effectively after this. Will there be enough left in the tank to climb up to WW, **** bodies with ODLH, then move back down to LW. Especially if he takes Hatton, and ODLH consecutively.. But at least he will have a hefty retirement check...

that's why i don't really want this fight to happen.

but it'll take 4-5 fights at 135 to equal how much he'll make with 1 fight with oscar so....... it'd be worth it for him.

not really good for us that want to see him unify 135 though.
