At 147, Kostya would struggle but 140 was his division. Mayweather didnt even try to get in his way while he was there.
Yeah. Floyd coulda stayed at 140 too and beat a shot Chavez, Ben Tackie and the like. You act like Tszyu beat some greats or something. Please.

And don't get me wrong, Tszyu is top 5 all-time at junior welter. But he's not a better fighter than Floyd at ANY weight. Get over it.

It could have just been him trying to figure Judah out but Judah was moving well and throwing good combinations in the first round, Tszyu didn't land anything too meaningful on Judah, Judah then got ****y and stood still a bit more and when he did move, he moved right into the right hand.

I agree. Watching that fight I felt that if Judah was not such a moron he probably would have had the tools to get it done agaisnt Kostya in that fight.

No matter how good one's defense is, at some point and time, he will get hit by his opponent.

Sweetpea had superior defense to Floyd Mayweather and Sweetpea was floored many of times in his career.

          Floyd's chin was outstanding.

I saw him eat a Chico Corrales hook without flenching. I remember in the first fight with Jose Castillo, he ate a left hook to the head and follow up left to the body. Floyd was actually frozen for a split second, but then he snapped out of it.

Judah hit Floyd with a few bombs in the early rounds of their fight and Oscar landed some nice shots as well.

If Floyd had a Judah chin, he would have been KTFO more than once.

...LOLOL..."if he had a Judah chin"?!?!?...LOLOL...he doesn't even need a lower jaw, he's get's hit once or twice a fight...let me make a statement here, Floyd has never been "worked" because he refuses to get hit...he runs like a little girl when someone even get's close...but that's what makes him a great boxer...notice I said "boxer", not "fighter"...his defense is 99% perfect...I don't like him, never have, never will...but still, he's one of the best boxer's ever...that's what has made him win, not getting hit...I'm pretty sure he's got no heart, seen his eyes "bug out" a few time in the Hatton fight just from Hatton being too close for comfort...and he ran from an "old, washed up" DLH...if he wants to remain on top, he better stay retired, because someone will catch him and he too will sit on his stool looking at the floor when the bell rings...

Well you have the Tszyu vs prime, undefeated Judah where he KOd him in the second. Then you have Mayweather vs sliding Judah, coming off a loss to a journeyman, where Judah won 3 of the first 4 rounds and even floored Floyd. But yeah, you're right, Mayweather blows Tszyu out of the water.

Tszyu's biggest weakness was pressure. People fail to give Hatton any credit for his victory but he had the exact blueprint on how to beat Tszyu which Vince Phillips laid out. Hatton suffocated Tszyu, mauled him and tired him out. Yes him being 35 years old didnt help his case with the intensity it was fought at but I think overall Hatton's tactics were what won him the fight.

Give Tszyu space and try to box him from a distance and you're absolutely ****ed. Tszyu was never troubled by speed. Judah's speed gave him a problem for all of 3 minutes before he eventually caught up to him. Mayweather probably wouldnt fold as easily as Judah but I still think Tszyu could have pulled it off.

...Excellent analysis and I think it would have just been a matter of time before Zoo got to him.

Fighting with a broken hand is plenty of heart in my book. He does have heart , he just didn't use it in the way we are used to.

                  So...?

You have Roberto Duran extending Marvin Hagler to a close 15 round decision.

Gets KO'ed in two by Hearns...who then gets KO'ed in three by Hagler.

                  Triangle theory is NONSENSE.

No man, Floyd is probably one of the better boxers who has ever lace em up. It's crazy saying Tszu would outbox Floyd. It would be allot more likely someone like Hatton to get to him provided Floyd was old enough and not prepared enough. In that fight, if Floyd was off timing he would have lost to Hatton no doubt.

...so, you think PBF would take the asswhoopin that Mallignaggi took against Cotto or maybe the one AA took against Miranda and keep "scratching" for 12 rounds?...I think he'd take the asswhoopin Roger took from Chavez and end the fight the same way...the truth is PBF has never, not in any of his fights, been "worked over" like any of the greats he's compared with...he has never been behind and needed to "suck it up" to pull out a come from behind win...please, read my sig...
