Has everyone seen Kostya utterly take Vernon Forrest to school in the Amatuer World Championships?? He boxed his ears off. Complete clinic.

Kostya is definitely severely underrated around most boxing circles.

The only certainty in all of this is that Mayweather would never go out on his stool.

the guy was old , without.

              give him a break.

              that's a very ignorant statement.

he was getting pressured all fight long. he was old and no longer at his best. ricky wasn't slowing down. ricky was a strong , young hungry fighter.

what's the point of going out another round just to get beat up when you know you don't have anything left?

did you see the fight? did you see the end of the fight?

              that's called class.

sometimes you can tell more from a guy when he losses. i bet you every guy in the stadium that was there left with a lot of respect for kostya that night. even if he did "go out on his stool."

any brits here that was at that fight. tell him.

I have a copy of that fight and Forrest was completely schooled, he is indeed one of the most underrated fighters, period.

Every boxer has their nemesis, they may not always fight them but there is someone out there who can beat you, always!! I still maintain that Floyd could not have beaten Tszyu at 140, after all Tszyu was the man at the weight and relatively high in the P4P rankings at his prime if i remember rightly.
Of all the fighters I have seen come and go, Tszyu is the one i miss watching the most.

The scorecards were about even though, weren't they?

Anytime the cards are even, in the other guy's hometown... doesn't that mean that the boxer in question thinks he has the fight in the bag?

Boxers always give themselves 2-3 more rounds than the judges have given him, right?

Excuses for Kostya he retired on his stool ****ing sad. Mayweather is not like Zudah he is very discipline and has been hurt very little his whole career. Mayweather never raise his hands down because of his ****iness. Zudah is nowhere near Mayweather quality. I don’t think Cotto will be able to hurt Mayweather like he did to Judah. Compare Judah and Mayweather defense, getting KO’d by Kostya. The thing good about Kostya is his boxing gears he sells pretty good quality.

Yeah Koysta was a ****ing class act that night. Took defeat like a man and passed the torch to Ricky. I was bowing in Waynes World fashion to King Kostya.
