He is a pretty good fighter, I've seen pretty much all his fights and I think he's fast, explosive, has a good jab but his best punch is his straight right hand, he also possesses good head movement but it doesn't work all the time and he doesn't keep his left hand up most of the time which leads to him getting knocked down and hurt so he's a pretty good fighter but has flaws which makes him exciting to watch.

Good cruiserweight but he'll never be among the top ten HWs.

He would lose badly to Wlad, Chagaev, Peter, Thompson, Valuev, Povetkin, Virchis, Dimitranko, etc.

If he struggles in his first fight at heavyweight his bandwagon will slow down. Big punchers with vulnerabilities always make for exciting fights/fighters.
Very good, objective post. Take note WLAD OWNS. Let me say this, I will be with Mr Haye all the Waye!

I think that he would KO Sam Peter, who is much slower and was put down several times by a lesser puncher than Haye a while ago.

A lot people seem to have missed that Haye is very effective using the upper cut - he has used this in a lot of his fights and it is devastating!! If he can land this in the inside to anyone then its game over!!

Do you think Haye will carry his quickness to the Heavyweight? I doubt! He may be just as slow as Sam by the time he fights as a Heavyweight. How many pounds do you think, will he be bringing up with him, if he fights Sam Peter?

If Haye wants to know how good he will be as a heavyweight, he should fight James Toney as his first opponent

I have heard that Haye will be fighting at 220+

Haye may lose as heavyweight, but I seriously doubt that he'll be as slow as Sam Peter.

Haye has said he is 230lb and he is just as quick as he was at cruiserweight as he has been focusing on speed.

Haye will be slower on his feet as he will have to move extra weight across the ring. Plus he will get tired faster probably carrying extra baggage which doesnt bode well for his suspect stamina.

I dont want to be pessimistic for Haye, but shouldnt think just because he dont have to struggle to make weight anymore, it will be any easier as a heavyweight. Not to say heavyweight really is the holy grail anymore, with James Toney and Roy Jones showing how it is done if you try to.
Its just most lighter guys dont try and be heavyweight fighters. Joe Calzaghe coiuld try his luck at heavyweight as well, but most people just dont bother.
