I dont want to be pessimistic for Haye, but shouldnt think just because he dont have to struggle to make weight anymore, it will be any easier as a heavyweight. Not to say heavyweight really is the holy grail anymore, with James Toney and Roy Jones showing how it is done if you try to.
Its just most lighter guys dont try and be heavyweight fighters. Joe Calzaghe coiuld try his luck at heavyweight as well, but most people just dont bother.
Yes, he most certainly could try his luck at heavyweight.. but he would get the living **** beat out of him.

Haye has an exciting style but came from the ****tiest division in boxing and beat down a bunch of nobodies, all I can say is that atleast he didn't wait till he was 35 to stop with that **** like Calzaghe did, and he is going after the best in the division to his credit.

That is the question that needs answering above all others.

I hear that Haye has been focussing on speed as he already has the power, i seriously doubt his stamina will be an issue as IMO that has been down to having to seriously boil down to make cruiserweight.
All in all, if you take into account his devastating power, his uppercut which only Duffgun mentioned and his speed he could very well be a force to be reckoned with at HW.
IMO he has the tools to beat them all IF his chin holds out. I would like to see him face someone like Peter/Povetkin/Igbramovich before he gets in the ring with Wlad, who; although i cannot stand him, is proven at the weight.

i love your loyalty to so-so fighters. The only one of those he loses badly to is Wlad, i think he could beat Peter, i hope that fights come's off for the WBC title later next year.

It'd also be fun watching valuev trying to land **** on haye. he'll be hitting fresh air all night.
