Some say Abraham's mandatory could be avioded, which would allow a fight with Pavlik but Pavlik opts to fight Williams instead. Lets not forget Abraham has openly said he would like to fight Pavlik.

Yes he is. Abrahams openly said on national tv he wants a Pavlik fight soon. Pavlik has not responded and said anything nearly similar, has seeked out other fights such as Mora and Williams whom is 2 weights lower, and has not even considered Abraham.
They may do it in time, but just like Mayweathers biding his time, so is Pavlik, basically controlled by Arum though unfortunately. At least Calzaghe speaks out about who he wants to fight, Pavlik sits back, says he'll fight anyone, but doesn't chase or talk the #1 contendor in AA, and lets Arum seek fights with Mora, and a guy 2 weight divisions lower.

Calzaghe is clearly ducking Pavlik, thats why he left frank warren and went to go fight a shot roy jones jr. And then claims he'll fight Pavlik after roy but we all know thats total bull**** from Calzaghe. He is just trying to make the press love him by saying he'll do one thing but he'll do something totally different.
People always hate on Frank Warren, but maybe it is clear to people now that Warren was the one who wanted Calzaghe to take the harder fights.Comment
