      Cotto has already had 4 title defenses at WW, and is on his way to his 5th against Margarito. Floyd won the title from a limited journeyman, then chose NOT to defend it against any of the top welters. Which do u think was harder to do???

            Cotto's run is more difficult, but only slightly. Judah, Mosley, Urkal, Quintana, and Gomez aren't exactly a murderer's row of opposition.

            At least Mayweather stepped up and took the title at 130, 135, and 140.

              I give Floyd credit for everything he did at 130 & 135. 140 was iffy, and what he did at 147 by dodging all the top guys was just disgracefull.
