i think its because clottey fought an eliminator and margarito had to either defend against him or vacate, so he had to vacate.

Cotto's run is more difficult, but only slightly. Judah, Mosley, Urkal, Quintana, and Gomez aren't exactly a murderer's row of opposition.

At least Mayweather stepped up and took the title at 130, 135, and 140.

I give Floyd credit for everything he did at 130 & 135. 140 was iffy, and what he did at 147 by dodging all the top guys was just disgracefull.
