    Whose chin is worse?

On the one hand you have David Haye. Despite a rather weak resume, he has been dropped by three different people in his 22 fights at CW. Lolenga Mock, who is currently fighting at SMW, and had lost 4 of his last 5 fights prior to fighting Haye, dropped Haye. Then 40 year old Carl Thompson, who used to fight at LHW, dropped and then stopped Haye in the 5th round. Then 35 year old Mormeck, who only had 6 fights in the 5 years leading up to the Haye fight and was one fight off being stopped by Bell, drops Haye once again.

Then you have Wladimir Klitschko. In 55 fights at HW, Wlad who, in his 25th fight in 2 years, at the age of 22, was kicking the hell out of 250lb Ross Puritty for 10 rounds. In the 11th, a round Wlad had never seen before, and wouldn't be seeing now if this wasn't for a lesser belt, couldn't lift his gloves any more and fell from exhaustion after staggering away from a punching Ross, leading to his corner throwing in the towel. Before I go on there was one fight just before this that I haven't seen. Wlad was dropped in the first round against 238 lb Steve Pannell, but Wlad managed to drop Steve in the same round and came back in the second to stop him. Then 16 fights later (15 KO/TKO's by Wlad), he fights Corrie Sanders (18 1st round KOs) and after being brutally headbutted to the jaw twice in a row, was badly beaten, though only one of the KDs after the headbutts was caused by a clean punch. Then Wlad kicks the hell out of hard hitting Lamon Brewster (14 1st round KOs) for 4 rounds before suffering stamina issues in the 5th, caught by a viscious left hook from Brewster but he doesn't go down. After the bell, the ref pulls them apart and appears to throw Wlad to the ground by mistake. Wlad beats the count but doesn't look so good and the ref stops the fight (something he failed to do earlier when Wlad had Brewster badly hurt.) Then one fight against olympian Davarryl Williamson where Wlad touched the canvas for a split second and bounced right back up. Then Wlad fights Sam Peter where twice he is rabbit punched in the back of the head, one of them combined with a bit of wrestling. Finally after these damaging, illegal punches, Peter manages to score a legit KD of Wlad, but Wlad easily holds on to win the fight.

Keep in mind that all of the people that knocked down or stopped Haye are either former LHWs or current SMWs and all of them were either 190 or 200 lbs when they fought Haye and one of them was 40 years old. With Wlad, they were all legitimate HWs, 3 of them known for their power.

both have bad beards but Wlad seems far more apprehensive about getting tagged.

having said that, Haye's troubles have come from temple shots; disorientating him. he's never been dropped by getting hit on the chin.

I know, how ridiculous are these guys. Tunney put me on ignore because I said the HW division was weak.

Wlad has only been hurt or dopped by big, strong hard punching heavyweights.....Wlad has NEVER been counted out....He Always has the heart to get up and continue.

Haye on the other hand has been hurt badly, dropped and knocked out by super middleweight bums.

Haye was badly hurt and knocked down twice by a glancing shot in round 2 by super middleweight bum Lolenga Mock....Any other ref would've stopped that fight in the 2nd round, but the biased British ref let it continue. It should've been a 2nd round TKO win for super middleweight bum Lolenga Mock

Wlad definitely has the better chin

Maybe Haye's bad chin at cruiserweight was because he was draining his body to make weight, we don't know how his chin is at heavyweight so it's hard to say who has the worse chin right now, although Haye is much more willing to take risks.

Well I have been seeing a lot of posts from Haye fans about Wlad's "glass" chin. David Haye is a young, exciting, charismatic boxer who has very fast hands and pretty decent power. But his resume is pretty weak, even though he has accomplished a lot in just 22 fights, and even so he's been dropped by some pretty weak competition. I just think people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Yes Wlad's chin isn't granite, but it's not as weak as people try to make it out to be, and he has many abilities that more than make up for it. Two awkward southpaws in a row and everyone is crapping on him. Then you have Haye and his rather weak resume, and everyone is on his nuts, talking about him unifying the division. A bit of a joke if you ask me.

I can't really compare Haye until he fights at heavyweight. Some of Klitschko's knockdowns had a lot more to do with stamina issues than a weak chin. But no doubt that he is somewhat gunshy.

I don't know if Wlad has that bad of a chin actually. The guys that did manage to stop him were hard punchers when Wlad was a more reckless fighter. He got caught a couple times. **** Happens and he seems to have learned from his mistakes.

If you can say anything negative about Wlad, is that once he is hurt, he seems to need a good amount of time recovering, but that could have been due to stamina issues.

Lewis got cold ****ed himself a couple of times, and nobody would argue that he was a good champion.

                    Foreman got stopped
                    Frazier got stopped
                    Holmes got stopped
                    Tyson got stopped
                    Holyfield got stopped
Bowe basically got stopped, although not official.

Why Wlad gets singled out I have no idea.

Good fighters sometimes get knocked out. It is as simple as that. I give Wlad credit for learning from those losses and coming back to be a better fighter. Not many have done that.
