It's amazing how many ppl just quickly drum up a p4p list, which is clearly just a favourites list. It really underlines the people whom can't judge objectively on boxers they're not fans of, over ones they are fans of and inflate their place.

Personally there's not much I'd change. Perhaps Hopkins from 4th to 6th. Pavlik down 2 as he's not done enough yet. Hatton seems to have slipped way to much since losing to the #1 p4p, but perhaps 10.

    That's about it.

Hatton had remained 8th on the p4p list after the Mayweather beating. That is where he was this Spring.

But it was his life-and-death struggle with a journeyman lightweight that made him slip further.

Yeh, since the Mayweather loss, that happened. I don't think that warranted him going down so much. Others have had not great performances and not slipped to much. He's proven himself over several fights, more than some have on a couple of good performances of late. But don't really want to get into it, will spiral off.

              Slicksouthpaw16's new list

This is my new list. I understand what Black Jesues was coming from, however Rafeal Marquez has not won in almost a year and does not have a championship belt and those are the two things that pound for pound fighters have. Therefore, i had no chioce but to bump him to the back.

Cotto should be ahead of Vasquez IMO becuase he has the better resume and is the best in his division. He is just very hot right now and i see him being pretty dominant.

Pavlik has two wins over Taylor, who was also on the pound for pound list when he beat him but was toward the end becuase he wasn't facing mandotories in his division. Pavlik is the man at middleweight.

There is really no need for me to explain Ivan Calderon. The little beast is unbeaten and is just ruling minimumweight/junior flyweight.

Those are basically the main changes that i would make on the list.

              1. Manny Macquiao
              2. Joe Calzaghe
              3. Miguel Cotto
              4. Juan Manual Marquez
              5. Bernard Hopkins
              6. Israel Vasquez
              7. Kelly Pavlik
              8. Cristian Mijares
              9. Ivan Calderon
              10. Rafael Marquez

This is ridiculous. Have you even seen his fight with Lazcano? It wasn't a stellar performance but Hatton dominated from start to finish, winning almost every single round. This struggle you talk about basically boils down to him having been hit a few times, its absurd.

I see where you are coming from, i just have a tendency to rate guys higher if they are constantly facing guys who are ranked p4p at the time they are fighting them. Vasquez having done that is what warrants me to feel he should be higher than cotto, however for me, if cotto gets by margarito id change my opinion.

to be honest though, i seriously feel like as long as certain fighters are on the list, i really dont care who is ranked where except whos number 1.
