I must say that Hopkins made it to the list by being the undisputed middleweight champion and beating Felix Trinidad, who was unbeaten and on the pound for pound list. His win over De La Hoya and Tarver also sky rocked him up the list as well and they were all on the pound for pound list at the time that he beat them. Hopkins ha beaten the more pound for pound quality opponents. Oh and i have Calzaghe at number 2 on my list, i just though I'd point that out. Joe has earned his spot by having that long of a title reign, unifying the titles and remaining undefeated, which is very impressive.

Considering Vasquez went to war 3 times with Marquez who was p4p for years, he deserves where he is, especially since he wasnt expected to win any of those fights. Cotto beating margarito would justify him being higher than Varquez.Last edited by El Jesus; 07-15-2008, 07:13 AM.Comment

The thing is, he lost 2 straight, but it was against the same guy who had been in the p4p list already (to my knowledge) Cotto is unbeaten, but how many guys did he face that were p4p already, i think thats exclusively why Vasquez is ranked higher.Comment

If Winky Wright's only loss (recently) was a close decision to a highly rated p4p guy well above Winky's best weights, how did WW fall so far off the list?
That troubles me.Comment
