What makes Baldomir such a great fighter??

I mean people like to point him out as one of Mayweather's greatest victories but outside of beating an old Gatti and Zab Judah.. what has he done before and after? Please enlighten me.. I must be missing something?

He is not a great figter but beating Zab and Gatti was respectable at the time. Reason as to why Floyd had to fight. I bring this because, I think I know where ur going with this.

Not many people know this, but before Baldomir beat Zab, he was rated at 10 by The Ring at welterweight. He proved himself by beating Zab and an old gatti (2 things: how do you dertimne a prime gatti? Gatti was also the favorite for that fight).

Also he managaed to win some rounds against Clottey. People don't mention Baldomir as one his top 5 wins, but everyone mentions Floyd's welter resume so much, so he deserves to be brought up because he's a good fighter.

He's a good fighter and has a good resume.

Baldomir won the linear WW title & compiled 44 victories in his pro career. Thats more than a fighter like Margarito can say. But yet the ignorant fan might believe Margarito has had a better career. BTW Floyd also beat the late great Diego, Castillo twice, Hernandez, Oscar, the previously undefeated Hatton & he medaled in the 96 olympics.
