This is a very good point and one i didnt think of when i posted earlier, my son who is not 3 until october, has been watching boxing with me since he was old enough to focus on the TV and knows many of the modern boxers names by sight when he sees them on the screen, even if he never goes on to box he will certainly be a fan. Either that or a ninja anyway cos he is obsessed with bloody power rangers ninja storm now!!!

As a casual fan, its hard to follow a sport that puts most of its good fights on ppv for a charge of $50. Its even harder to put your support behind a fighter who only fights 2-3 times a year. Imagine if you were a big Michael Jordan fan, and he only played in 3 games per year. You'd be like "**** that" With other sports, you have the opportunity to tune in a couple of times a week to see your favorite team/s and player/s. Casual fans tend to lose interest due to the lack of free, quality fights.
