Why is boxing not respect with other sports.

Man ive been thinking about this for some time and i jus wanted to see wut u guys think.

I watch espn and sportcenter a lot and they hype of a lot of things like NBA finals...world series....even hockey and soccer...but boxing gets only a small portion of tv time. The most hype i eva seen for a fight was may-dlh wen they had mini interviews on espnews...other than that they dont hype of names the way they should and i garantee that if they did ppv number would definetly increase. And ppl would finally say the sport is not dead

Because boxing is nothing in america anymore only in the new MECCA - Europe it is popular.

Boxing is a minority sport because it involves fighting. The mainstream does not like fighting.

because ppv!!!! plus boxing got way to many belts no a straight system like nba, nfl, nhl.... no playoff... no way to know who is the true champ?

because boxing does not have THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION right now...

once we get him, boxing will be up again

boxing has its moments... ups and downs all the time

when muhammad ali came boxing was down... he brought it up

when mike tyson came boxing was down... he brought it up

then lennox lewis kept it up

now... we will see who the undsiputed linear champ is... he will keep it up
