Ha, this made me laugh.

Arum's concern was that the Left Coast wouldn't fly out East to support the fight, whereas East Coast writers will gladly travel west to cover the event. He might be right, though it didn't appear to be much of a concern with Cotto's fights against Zab and Shane.

As far as the fight being closed to sold out (to respond to an earlier post) - no, it's not. Ticket sales opened strong, but quickly leveled off. I'm sure it will pick up dramatically the week of the fight, but there are still plenty of tickets to be sold.

Yeah, that was me. I had heard that they had almost sold out a few days after the tickets went on sale. Of course in boxing you can't usually believe what you hear. I'd be shocked if the arena wasn't full by fight time though.
