Well Juan Manuel Marquez wasn't that well known with mexicans, but his rematch fight Manny Pacquiao made record PPV numbers and a pretty good gate. believe me the mexicans WILL show up......

mexicans will always show up for a welterweight fight in vegas involving a title against the best puerto rican fighter, its a given.

BTW are u sure Margarito cant own property in Mexico? Any child of Mexican parents can go to the Mexican Embassy/Consulate and claim their Mexican citizenship and have dual citizenship like DLH.

they shelled out 15 grand for ringside seats for Trinidad-Jones, which is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard.

So they will make the trip.

And Marg sold 10,000 seats when he fought Williams in that outdoor stadium, and Williams was an unkown. So i think both fan bases draw a very good crowd, but i think the crowd will be pro Margarito.

It would have been better if it were at MSG though.
