Rather than criticise Wlad, what about Tony 'Tiger' Thompson?

Thompson gave up and stopped believing in himself after the 5th round; he basically gave up and showed zero heart...

that means Lamon Brewster has about -50 heart, considering facing the same prospects he went out on his stool without so much as a whisper of objection.

Also those body shots he was landing on Wlad were no joke. I mean he's not a big puncher, but those were starting to noticeably tear up Wlad's ribs.

I wasn't the one getting hit by them, but those body shots didn't look very sharp at all. If Mike Tyson or Joe Frazier got that many body shots in on him he'd have totally broken down.

Thompson walked forward with his guard up around his head for 95% of the time, he was just begging to be body punched. The Tiger hardly threw any punches from R2 onwards and appeared to quit in R9? I thought he was supposed to be broke, hungry, etc? A very disappointing performance.

          Was he overawed, over-matched, outclassed?

So my esteemed colleagues. What did you make of Tiger Thompson?
He is nothing, and had quit by the time he got "knocked out."
It was a joke, I gave him rounds 1 and 4, just because Wlad looked THAT pathetic.
