That punch that by Wlad was legit. It was similar to the one he landed on Brock, it was just Thompson had that late reaction, which you see in Boxing. Thompson came out all right and looked like he wanted to go for the win, but as the rounds went on he seemed to have the fight out of him and didn't do much. I liked this performance by Wlad a lot better than the Ibragimov fight.

I said it before and i'll say it again. Wlad did not look overly spectacular, but he had another fight where he was very effective. It is hard to look spectacular against the current breed of heavy's out there. Wlad though keeps doing his thing and keeps winning. You cannot take that away from him.

Everyone keeps predicting when his chin will give out on him again. They might be waiting a long time. Wlad was more susceptible to getting knocked out when he was younger and more reckless than he is now.

He did what he had to do, but it was far from impressive. Thompson was asking to be knocked out from round 9 onwards. I congratulate Wlad for getting the job done and overall it was a decent performance, but it won't be causing any of the other top heavyweights to lose sleep.

If Wlad starts that slow against Haye, he'll be eating the floor. That won't be good enough.

Wlad Owns: Nobody ever said Wlad would lose, so I don't know who the 'in your face' remark was aimed at. Thank God Wlad is a classier individual than you. Nobody likes a bad loser, but everyone fucking hates a bad winner.

More proof to why you are a true hugger. How can you like Klitschko and not Chad Dawson? Dawson fights the best and makes his fights exciting. I already stated that i like Klitschko, but hes just not beating Peter or Chagaev because he can't take a consistant pressure fighter with power. You have to pay attention to the quality of opponent that was in there. This guy Thompson has not beaten a top 10 heavyweight, he couldn't punch and he was an old man in boxing.

It was broke because of Wlad being tougher than many on here give him credit for. Thompson did basically quit, but it was Wlad who led him along that path.

I think it was a good solid win by Wlad.
