Thompson did not take a dive. Watch the punch. It connected flush ala the KO vs Calvin Brock. Don't tell me you've never seen a delayed reaction for a punch and plus, if you watch again, Thompson's arm was bent against his head even as he went down like he was still trying to defend himself. Akin to when a fighter gets KO'ed and is still stiff when they hit the ground.
Overall, I think Wlad did very good for how awkward a fighter Thompson was. I will admit that Tony was fading and even maybe 'giving up' near the end, however Wlad still had a fairly dominating performance against the number one mandatory challenger and knocked him out. Kudos to Wlad.

That's right, Tony had never been down or stopped before today.Comment

Mandatory = fabricated. Look at who he fought to get the shot. Just one fight and against who. Look it up. FABRICATED. And that was far from dominating. Wlad showed jab and right hand, nothing more! Haye's chances just improved, everyone must see that, even the nuthuggers.
:wank:

At least you're still a fan...I have to commend you for that. Most fans would look at Wlad's last three fights and stop following boxing, if not kill themselves all together.
But you my man, you're a special breed, the kind of nuthugger that surpasses 50 Horuses...prepare the Hayemaker for launch.
...Hmmmm, sounds like someone is longing for the Gay's seed in his mouth.Comment

Thompson had been weakened by the accumulation of previous punches. I could see he was ready to go from midway in the tenth. At one point he held on to stop from falling. I knew it would just take one more big right from Wlad.Comment
