Hatton would have beaten cotto at 140 at that time if they had have fought. Hatton was not weight drained, was in his prime and was faster, stronger, better ko ratio and threw more accurate punches than cotto did in his time at 140. But people must remember that Tszu was THE MAN at 140 at that time and Cotto and Floyd stayed the **** away from him, yet Hatton took him on and beat him in a great fight.
