The arrogance of some US fans is staggering. You really think that your 1 defence MW champion is the man to end Calzaghe's unbeaten run don't you? Never mind that your 'new Tyson' had his ass handed to him, never mind that a hard punching, unbeaten double SMW champ was given a boxing lesson, never mind that the Ring LHW champion couldn't beat him. Thats right, a slow one dimensional slugger a division below Calzaghe's best weight is going to take him out!

so calzaghe deserves credit, because SOME fans blew Lacy up to tyson?

no those people are idiots, lacy was an unproven prospect...

Kessler was a good, yet unproven fighter... unproven meeaning, who has he fought? it WAS a good win... but STILL, its not a main highlight I would want my resume to have

and your ring LHW champion was 43 years old... credit? sure... bernards still a good fighter... but hes 43.... how MUCH credit can you give..

it may sound like a bunch of excuses.. but those are all equally good points..

Man, stop with the misinformation. The miniscule amount of a steroid that was in his system for the Hall fight was from medicine he bought over the counter.

You think B-HOP was tired and defeated, I think not.... like HOP said Joe ONLY landed what 250 punches, and look at HOPS face... did he look beat, dis he look tired?.... SOOOO if a 43 year old can take JOE the distant and (Lose by a SPLIT DECISION) what makes you think a 40 year old cant, that is much faster than joe?????????

Yeah, you have an excuse for every fighter Cal has beaten. Who has Pav beaten that warrants what you are saying, Lockett who was a bum, and the overrated Jermaine Taylor? Tell Pav to fight Abraham, he called his name.

You don't seem to get it. There is no catch weight whn you challenge a man. Cal is at 175, if Pav wants the fight, go to 175. That is kind of punkish to ask an man who is about to retire to move down in weight.
